Pipeline Integrity Management

Assess, repair and validate the integrity of your gas pipeline network.

Pipeline Integrity Management

The Federal pipeline Integrity Management Program (IMP) regulations (part 192 of CFR49) require pipeline operators to identify and evaluate or repair and validate the integrity of gas transmission pipelines that could, in the event of a leak or failure, affect High Consequence Areas (HCAs). HCAs include certain populated and occupied areas. Gas transmission pipeline operators are required to submit semi-annual performance measure reports on their Integrity Management programs and annual reports on their pipeline infrastructure. Use the AyaBiz solution to help meet your IMP technology requirements.

Distribution Pipeline Integrity Management

Additionally, the Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA) published the final rule establishing integrity management requirements for gas distribution pipeline systems on December 4, 2009 (74 FR 63906). The effective date of the rule is February 12, 2010. Operators have given until August 2, 2011 to write and implement their program. Use the AyaBiz solution to help meet your DIMP technology requirements.
